Finshape launches Agentic DBOS: agentic AI for digital banking, already live in several bank projects

Newszy: Prague, 5.11.2026 – Finshape today announced Agentic DBOS (ADBOS), the agentic evolution of its Digital Bank Operating System (DBOS). ADBOS adds an agentic AI layer to the proven DBOS platform used by a broad customer base. Our platform helps banks analyse, design, develop, test and launch digital services significantly faster. At the same time, it understands clients’ real needs, provides hyper-personalised interactions and brings customer servicing to a new level.

ADBOS is not just a concept on slides. It is already live and “battle-tested”, being used by Finshape’s clients today. The platform is being adopted rapidly across our existing and new clients including OTP Group, where Finshape’s delivery team uses ADBOS agents in its day-to-day work, and the first digital application delivered with their help is now in production.

Across recent Finshape projects, the first production version of a new digital service went live in 6–7 months with ADBOS, compared with 9–12 months for comparable MVPs built before. The agents build on the platform the bank already runs.

Banks can expect clear benefits, from significantly better UX and CX to faster delivery, a lower cost to serve and new revenue streams. Trust, however, remains the main challenge. Banking is a highly regulated industry, so banks need AI that behaves predictably, can be fully audited and stays firmly under their control.

That is why ADBOS builds on DBOS, a platform used by more than a hundred banks worldwide, and on three decades of banking know-how that Finshape has built into its products and its AI agents. DBOS dramatically accelerates AI adoption by combining a proven digital banking platform with agentic AI.

“ADBOS marks a turning point for Finshape and for our clients. It’s a new way for banks to build, launch and scale digital experiences, faster and smarter than ever before. Banks don’t need another layer of technology. They need a foundation built for what comes next. ADBOS is that foundation. It gives banks the speed, intelligence and control to compete on their own terms.”

    — Neil Budd, CEO, Finshape

“The project is progressing at a strong pace, and the close cooperation between our teams has played an important role in that. We are happy with the way we are working together and with the results delivered so far, and we look forward to building on this momentum.”

     — András Sebők, CIO, OTP Bank

ADBOS gives banks a practical way to adopt agentic AI: on a foundation they already know and control, with their own people staying in charge of the decisions that matter.
